East Street | Food Review
Last night I had a little date night meal at East Street in central London. It’s located just off Tottenham Court Road and serves Pan Asian traditional street food.
We went around 5:40 pm and it wasn’t too busy; the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. Projected on to a large wall for everyone to watch was Asian Anime cartoon ‘Naruto.’ The staff were very kind and willing to recommend dishes to us. I had a vegetable Yaki Soba dish but they swapped the noodles to Rice noodles for me as I prefer them and I am slightly wheat intolerant and on the side I had fresh rice paper spring rolls. The meal was tasty and because we were there before 6 it was part of a meal deal of £8.95.
I would highly recommend trying out the restaurant if your after quick well priced Asian food with a great atmosphere. The later it got – the busier it got very quickly so I recommend going early!
