Wellies!

Here at The Unisex Mode we take footwear seriously.

We all collect trainers and shoes as a hobby and pride ourselves on building outfits around good footwear.

When it comes to summer there are festivals and beaches and a whole new choice of footwear comes in to play. Wellies are the ultimate choice when it comes to protection. We would never ever want to wear our favourite sneaks to the beach or a muddy festival and kill them; getting a decent pair of wellies by a good brand is becoming more and more fashionable. Printed, colourful, see through and even glittery wellies are all over the market every year and becoming more of a fashion statement piece for a festival outfit. That’s easy though. Everyone’s doing it.

If like us your into quality footwear then Hunter or Le Chameau and Aigle make the best wellies you can find! Modelled here are Le Chameau and Hunter. The design characteristics of both brands is slick. They offer classic colour ways as well as bright ones, the grip on Le Chameau boots is incomparable. These are wellies that will last your a long time!

Hunter boots became a fashion piece for the style conscious a few years ago with a massive boom in sales and people wearing them as a daily footwear choice. Pink Hunters took over the world and quite frankly were worn by the same ‘style’ chicks who also love Uggs and Paul’s Boutique jackets. This isn’t the kind of Hunter trend we support! Hunter boots are classic when worn in a classic way.

Le Chameau make the best grip wellies on the market. Using Vibram sole technology with a tester team guarantee; you know your safe in summer on slippy beach rocks or in winter in the snow.

Aigle are another brilliant French heritage brand; hand making their rubber boots for over 150 years also. They have recently released some Liberty collaboration boots.

Price wise your looking at around £135 for Le Chameau and £90 for Hunter, and £100 for Aigle.
