Sinstar clothing; taking a closer look!
Sinstar are a brand I have featured on the blog before. They are a UK brand with a street meets punk rock style about them.
Sinstar are a well developed brand, they are wholesale to stores across the globe as well as selling on their own online store. The collections are always well varied with a lot of cut and sew garments, bespoke accessories and even stationary.
Leopard print and skulls are a common theme with metal and punk rock music elements played out through their design aesthetic. For example the Tshirt they have sent me states boldly; ‘Death To All But Metal.’ I think it’s important within UK ‘street’ brands to have some which focusing strongly on rock roots than hip hop. At least it makes Sinstar stand a little bit out of the generic loop of supreme rip offs.
Standing further into the Drop Dead scene than the general streetwear scene, with a twist of female streetwear similar to brands like Dollskill; Sinstar are creating their own scene.
I love the attention to detail; everything I was sent came in branded packaging with branded tissue paper inside and 3d swing tags featuring fold out posters!
