Alice Muir for The Unisex Mode: ‘Wavey Garms.’

Alice Muir is the Editor of Womens Streetwear Magazine ‘TLG Magazine.’ She is going to be doing some guest blogging for us over here on The Unisex Mode from time to time and this is her 1st piece, enjoy:

The other day as I was browsing through my Facebook news feed, I noticed one of my Facebook friends had posted an image of a BAPE jumper onto a Facebook group called ‘Wavey Garms Ladies’. It caught my attention as I am a huge streetwear fan (Japanese streetwear in particular) and I stumbled across one of the best Facebook pages I have seen yet. Wavey Garms is a marketplace for both men and women (there are two separate groups for males and females) where you can buy, sell and browse your ‘wavey garms’.
Most of the items up for grabs are either rare streetwear or vintage pieces at extremely reasonable prices. Brands include but are not limited to, Supreme, Versace, Carhartt, Moschino, BAPE, Alife and so many more! Since the formation of the page which was set up by Andres Branco, Wavey Garms has become an established brand in London, hosting everything from Wavey Garms pop up markets to Wavey Garms 90s club nights, playing Garage, Hip Hop and RnB music.

Head on over to the page to see if you can either grab a bargain, or make some money from your unwanted ‘wavey garms’! https://www.facebook.com/groups/waveygarmsladies/ I also write about womens streetwearover at TLG Magazine.
