Behind The Scenes; Styling a test for Supa Model Management.
Yesterday I turned stylist for a shoot with two brand new cute models at Supa Model Management.
Donnald Chambers put together a test shoot and pulled in me and make up artist Sophie Cox and Hair stylist Combine Hair Design, to create a stylish, fashion editorial to kick start the girls careers off as new, young models!
Moya and Beth, 14 and 15 years old, were both spotted at The Clothes Show and have now been signed to Supa Model Management in London.
I was pulled into the project last minute and given a mood board by Donnald which included textured, shimmery, metallic, girly pieces and monotones. I pulled all the looks from a brand called Prey Of London at their PR Agency: ‘Fabric PR.’ Their collection is so pretty, varied and well designed that everything I wanted; I found! Usually I have to go to several PR companies and brands before I finish collecting everything for a shoot. We kept it simple, sleek and clean. Which meant instead of worrying about adding things all the time I could focus on the details.
The makeup was sleek and sophisticated. We kept it light and we changed the hair styles through out the shoot, and added a bit of grunge and texture towards the end.
For Moya this was her 2nd photo-shoot and for Beth it was her 1st, and they smashed it! Both of the girls were very beautiful but at the same time extremely polite and enjoyable to work with.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the final results!
