Alpinestars channel their Vintage Heritage for SS14 Collection
Being a huge fan of extreme sports and life style brands; the meeting of the two in one collection is fairly exciting! Alpinestars have bought this to life; releasing their SS14 lifestyle collection with tuns of heritage and brand history within the extreme sports world.
Here’s some background info:
Now in their 51st year, Alpinestars look to the past for graphic inspiration for their SS14 collection. Included in the collection is a selection of long sleeve tees which echo the look of racing jerseys worn by legendary ‘60s riders such as the likes of former world champion Roger De Coster, Alpinestars’ first client.
The Hell Raiser crewneck long sleeve tee, coming in a stark monochrome features a bold Alpinestars logo with the iconic chequered flag associated with racing all over the world, patterned down each sleeve.
The Innate S/S tee puts a new spin on the classic Alpinestars logo. A skull in a feather headdress and crash helmet takes centre stage on a spinning wheel, with a distressed effect adding to the vintage feel.
The Jones longsleeve tee gives a nod to Alpinestars’ home from home, the United States of America. Continuing on from their 2013 American Sportswear collection, this jersey comes in a patriotic red, white and blue with stars featuring across the logo.
