Patagonia SS14 meets The Unisex Mode
When received the Patagonia SS14 images a few weeks ago I knew I needed to do more than see it in pictures! So I teamed up with Patagonia’s press team Canoe to create our own look book style editorial with the exciting new collection.
Styled by me, assisted by Juice Gee and modelled by us both; this is how we see the collection being worn!
Photographed by the amazing Donald Michael Chambers, and make up put on our faces to make us more photo friendly by the awesome Sophie Cox.
Together the 4 of us have created a set of 6 images portraying my favourite pieces in the collection that I could see me and Juice wearing and having in our wardrobe. I styled these with shoes from Vans and socks by Skull and Bones Boys Club and Only NYC.
Patagonia’s Summer 2014 Collection introduces graphic, floral & tropical prints to bring colour and vibrancy throughout their range. Camouflage, tie dye & colour blocking infuse a variety of styles that can be worn on the beach or in the city.
Patagonia Inc, the Californian outdoor apparel, equipment & footwear company founded by Yvon Chouinard in 1973, is noted internationally for it’s commitment to product quality & environmental activism. The company supports the ambitious mission statement. “Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm & use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.
I think half the reason I love this brand so much is because of their positive message; and the other half because of their amazingly designed products.
