Fruit Cocktail collection by Josh Stika x Boxfresh
Longtime UK brand Boxfresh have teamed up with UK illustrator and graffiti artist Josh Stika to create an urban, streetwear collection. The capsule collection is made up of 9 pieces including apparel and footwear.
All over print and graphic artwork is seen across teeshirts, hoodies, sweatshirts and trainers; depicting Josh’s design style mixed with Boxfresh’s heritage silhouettes.
Josh brings a fresh approach to a well known brand; and this isn’t the first time he has worked for Boxfresh. Before studying at Central Saint Martins Josh joined the Boxfresh flagship store at Covent Garden for a year and has been brand loyal ever since and now 9 years later is working with his past employees on his very own collection.
It’s hard sometimes for heritage brands to collaborate with new designers as the match can often be hard to translate; new and old. But with Boxfresh’s roots in urban culture and Josh’s roots in new urban culture they have teamed up in an aesthetically pleasing way; success!
