Footlocker’s ‘It Must be February’ NBA event.
Recently I was lucky enough to attend the Footlocker NBA day time event; a collection of previews for SS15. The focus around the day was on NBA products because it was also the day of the Knicks x Bucks Game at London’s O2 Arena.
Special Guests of the day included DJ Grand Master Flash and DJ Clark Kent. I was lucky enough to grab some time with Grand Master Flash to chat to
him about his style. His tips were to “Stay fresh, always coordinate your kicks to your outfit, and keep it classic.” It was an honour and a pleasure to meet and discuss style with one of hiphop a legends, questionably one of hip hops originators! Later after perusing the upcoming collections we went to the O2 for an amazing chance to watch an NBA game live in the UK.
