With festival season now in full swing, each week we will be giving you a round up of whats coming up that week, or what we will be attending.

This weekend there are quite a few festivals happening but the main 3 thare on our hit list are:

* Parklife 2015

* Field Day

* Born & Bred

Each day i’m going to write a small post on each of these festivals to give you an idea of it as well as the lineup!

To kick things offf…PARKLIFE!

Parklife Festival have announced
the first line-up names for their hotly-anticipated 2015 edition on Saturday
6th
and Sunday 7th June at Manchester’s Heaton
Park.
Showcasing an incredible selection of the best chart-topping
live acts and world leading DJs, confirmed headliners include Disclosure,
Rudimental,
Ben Howard, Nas, George Ezra, Fatboy Slim, Grace Jones, Wu-Tang
Clan, Caribou, Metronomy
, Mark Ronson and Jessie Ware – all
of whom will cater to over 140,000 music fans across the two days.

 Two of the UK’s hottest dance
acts–Disclosure and Rudimental will head up the festival’s
main stage, which will also feature one of the UK’s biggest dance
music exports Fatboy Slim.  A
rare performance from iconic singer and model Grace Jones is also
confirmed, whilst hip-hop royalty Nas, Wu-Tang Clan and young claimant
to the throne, Earl Sweatshirt, will all tap into Parklife’s
ever-growing urban angle.

 James Bay, named Critics Choice
2015 by the Brit Awards panel, is also amongst the first indie names
announced and will be joined by Ben Howard, George Ezra, Metronomy and ‘Uptown Funk’ hit-maker Mark
Ronson.

 Radio 1 tastemaker Annie Mac and chart
topper Duke Dumont will head up a plethora of burgeoning DJ talents
spread across the festival, with sets also coming from Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones,
MK, Nicolas Jaar,
Seth Troxler, Maya Jane
Coles
, Eats Everything, and Hannah Wants to name a few. Also
returning to Manchester are legendary figures David Rodigan and Andy C, with rising stars
Lapsley,
Novelist and Blonde also billed.
