Vans Partners with Eley Kishimoto to Launch a ‘Living Art’ Collection
Vans; one of the coolest and most successful heritage skate brands to have successfully infiltrated the fashion scene in the last 40 years, has teamed up with British design house Eley Kishimoto to create a collection of ‘wearable art.’
With Vans apparel, footwear and accessories being the the canvas Eley Kishimoto applied two of their archive designs across the collection and introduces three exclusive prints, designed specially for Vans.
Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto, husband and wife design duo, founded Eley Kishimoto together in 1992 living by the maxim ‘Print the World.’ A statement we can totally get down with! Both me and Jess have quite a few tattoos and love art and design and especially print; in fact we both studied design and print subjects at University… But back to Vans…
The Vans x Eley Kishimoto collection launches globally this July. Watch living art come to life in an animated video by Bucky Hukumoto staring Vans skate team rider, Lizzie Armanto and friends. Shop the collection online at vans.eu/eleykishimoto and Vans retail stores globally.
