UNIF Launches at Selfridges in the UK for AW15: Yey!
LA based internet cult brand UNIF launches in Selfridges in the UK with its Autumn Winter collection for 2015 this August! Bringing UNIF’s cult line of ‘shreddy to wear’ clothing to Selfridges street fashion department.
Being huge on the internet globally UNIF have gained a cult following through instagram for the past few seasons but for us UK lovers it’s been a slow launch in the UK retail market with a bit available in Urban Outfitters but nothing like the amount you could buy online.
Key pieces include the Olympia Dress (£85), tapping in to the varsity aesthetic seen for AW15, whilst also ticking boxes for statement stripes and funnel necks – key trends for the new season. The Sadi Dress (£70) features grown on neck and ribbed micro-pleats, an essential piece for transitional layering. The downy Certa Bomber Jacket (£130) enables ‘duvet dressing’ in perfect pastel pink all Winter long. It’s a collection of girly but grungy womenswear for girls who like to have that tomboy / punk rock edge but still feel part barbie!
With devotees like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Lily Allen, Cara Delevingne and a 800k strong social media following – UNIF is set to make huge waves in the UK. I want it all! NOW!
