BESTIVAL 2015: The Summer Of Love
With only one week to go, what could be a better way to end your summer than attending Bestival. I went last year and had the most amazing time, especially as it was so sunny as well. 🙂
If you’ve never heard of Bestival, it’s a 4 day event that runs at Robin Hill on The Isle Of Wight. Not only does it always have an amazing line up but there is always so much to do. It’s an amazing, colorful, creative and friendly party that you never want to end!
Music wise, there are so many amazing acts confirmed. You can see the line up above! There is always such a vast array of music from live jazz bands, to DJ’s to rock bands and all kinds of singers.
“Bestival-goers, get ready to “Get Ur Freak On”, “Work It” and “Lose Control” as Missy Elliott has been announced as the final headliner.” It will be her first UK gig in 9 years!!! I’m so excited!!
Bestival’s theme this year is “Summer of Love”. I always come with a suitcase full of festival gear for me and my friends to share, and this year will be no different! I’ll have to get my thinking cap on and start making something this weekend… to make sure I’ve got something in time!
I’m going to be taking lots of pictures of all the amazing outfits I see so I’ll post them all on here when I’m back, to give you guys a taste of what Bestival is like if you don’t manage to make it down.
If you need some dressing up inspo, Bestival have put up a page of amazing ideas: http://2015.bestival.net/photos/dressing-up/photo/1
Just announced: Diesel Only The Brave
A new stage has also just been announced for Bestival, Diesel only the Brave. (View line up above)
“Rooted in the Magic Meadow and boasting a super-fat DJ-only line-up that’s guaranteed to knock your socks off every night, the Diesel Only The Brave stage will radiate the unmistakable aroma of good times. But be warned, it’s not for the faint-hearted, if you’re going in, you’re gonna have to #livebravely.”
I’ll be heading down on the Saturday to catch my girl Moxie dropping some sick tunes!
My girl Chloe (DJ Barely Legal) will also be dropping some amazing tunes during the festival so watch this space for my review post on all the festival style I spot as well as reviewing the amazing sets I catch (Or at least try to anyway! Dependent on sleep haha)
