HUF x Patrick Nagel
This October 2015, HUF has partnered with the Patrick Nagel Estate to release a collection of items highlighting the artist’s work and legacy.
Patrick Nagel (November 25, 1945 – February 4, 1984) was an American artist known primarily for his focus on women and the female form. He is considered by many to be one of the giants of 20th century American illustration and graphic design. You may recognise his style from Duran Duran’s iconic album ‘Rio’ from 1982 which he drew the cover art for.
The collaboration sees HUF in a more mature light and will definitely open the brand up to a newer audience and really excite some of their current fans. A perfect pairing of skate meets art which isn’t a new thing at all in the form of skateboard collaborations but is indeed an interesting pairing that has been executed extremely well.
Consisting of jackets, tees, fleece, socks, skateboard decks, a 6-panel hat, pin set, and blanket, the HUF x Nagel Collaboration will be available at select HUF retailers from the 8th October.
