Introducing Kutula For AW15
KUTULA is a new London based lifestyle brand which means ‘peace’ in a Zulu dialect and was inspired by designer Jimi Herrtage’s trip to South Africa earlier this year.
KUTULA’s debut unisex collection is primarily based on a monochrome palette using an urban Camouflage print in black and white throughout the 34-piece collection. The repetitive print seamlessly connects all pieces of the collection together, uniting each customer and becoming part of the KUTULA army.
Seen here is the women’s offering with a clever take on simplistic street-wear aesthetics, the cut and sew and all over print offerings already set the brand apart from many of their peers and their take on womenswear hits the nail on the head and fills the gap between women’s and unisex apparel. Displaying street wear in a cool but feminine way isn’t easy but has been executed well by Kutula.
Shot by Dean Martindale and featuring rising model Lily Bridger, we can’t wait to see more of what they have to bring!
