Red Bull DIY 2015 Documentary

Red Bull DIY is about giving skate stores / crews basic materials in order for them to find a spot and build a skate-able area themselves.

In the above documentary they follow some of the crews across the UK building their DIY parks from beginning to end and even with one being destroyed before they could finish it. Inverness in Scotland, Dunstable in England, Cwmbran in South Wales all feature in the film. The store in Wales is Freestyle which is run by one of my very good and longterm friend Grim. I used to work in the Newport branch and it’s awesome to see the guys in this documentary, they are real, honest and passionate skaters who love the sport and have the most honest DIY ethic throughout their company. It’s totally gutting to see their spot destroyed. But watch the documentary to see what happens for yourself.
