ASICS x Patta GEL-Respector
ASICS Tiger and Patta have an extensive history of collaborative projects, debuting with the ASICS x Patta GEL-LYTE III in 2007, followed by a trio of GEL-Lyte Speeds in 2009, and 2011’s GEL-Saga. The cooperation continues in 2016 with the ASICS x Patta GEL-Respector. Connecting with ASICS’ Japanese roots, the vibrant color palette used on the ASICS x Patta GEL-Respector is inspired by rich, colourful anime films and characters such as tropical fish and mythological creatures.
The upper is comprised of overlays in methyl blue premium suede, with flame orange striping and marine green accents juxtaposed against a grey perforated nubuck base. Details include 3M striping underlay, custom tongue pulls, embossed logos on the heel, branded sockliners, and matching laces in flat and rope options. As usual Patta come correct with a fun eye popping colour-way and extensive attention to detail.
The ASICS x Patta GEL-Respector is set to release at Patta on Saturday, February 27th 2016, followed by a global release at ASICS Family & Friends retailers on a later date to be announced. The ASICS x Patta GEL-Respector will be available in sizes US4,5-US13, which means us girls can grab a pair as well as the guys. Retail price is €150,00.
