Crepe City comes around again… Recap.
Last weekend saw the UK’s premier sneaker event come around again for it’s 7th year in a row, and still in the Shoreditch Truman Brewery where it has been for many years (not the whole 7 though).
Akin to other European sneaker events like Sneakerness and Solemart, Crepecity is the biggest event in the UK where sneaker heads can buy, sell and trade sneakers, clothing and accessories.
Above are some general images from the event including The Basement area and Sneakers Paradise; a charity based organisation that came over from Germany.
Jason Markk had a stand selling their products and giving complimentary cleaning services away.
Ropes laces showcased their new lace colour-ways with new release sneakers in mind – they always match to current sneaker trends, which is what’s cool about the brand.
Prime – from Amsterdam, always has ultimate grails on show and this time they had an entire back wall of AM1 heat. And Crepecity had their own merch and magazines for sale in their store space at the front of the event.
If you haven’t been Crepe City is worth going to if you’re into sneakers. Tickets range from £5-£15 roughly with more expensive tickets allowing you a quicker access as the queues are pretty huge! It’s a fun place to meet fellow sneaker heads and find trainers you have lusted over that are else wear sold out. Every year it’s getting bigger and bigger so it’s worth going to the next one to see what all the fuss is about really.
We’ve got some dope sneaker shots in our follow up post still to come…
